Bringing the character to life – Thijmen Geluk

Each of the three version of Adley FIXI-T1 watches is driven by the stronge character of the individual fixed-gear bicycle rider. We reached out to talented Dutch illustrator Thijmen to help us bring those characters to life. Thijmen did his magic and asserted his unique style to give extra dimensions to each character.

Champion White – The Pack leader

The version reflects a seasoned male bicycle messenger, the pack leader.

The pure white dial with stainless steel hour and minute hands reflects the refined style in the urban jungle. The torquey second hand and stainless steel central chain ring pay homage to the original fixed gear bike.

Twilight Grey – the storm rider

The version reflects a powerhouse of a female messenger, the storm rider. The grey dial with PVD black stainless steel hour and minute hands permeates elegance in the chaotic environment. The pink second-hand and stainless steel central chain ring pay homage to the original fixed gear bike.

Midnight Black – The mystical rider

The version reflects the wild inner side of a bicycle messenger, the mystical creature of the pack. The dark grey dial with PVD black stainless steel hour and minute hands permeates an enigmatic presence between the traffic. The yellow second-hand and stainless steel central chain ring pay homage to the original fixed gear bike.
